Oakhurst Obedience Instructors, experienced & caring

Betty Luttier -- has taught obedience for over thirty years, at Oakhurst Obedience Classes (OOC) since 1991. Prior experience includes degrees in psychology and education, and teaching elementary school. She has earned obedience titles with dogs of multiple breeds, in AKC through Utility (obedience), Tracking, and RAE (Rally); in UKC through Companion Dog Excellent and Rally Obedience Champion, as well as Dock Diving. She has also worked with her dogs in breed-related activities (go-to-ground with her terriers, herding instinct with her border collies, hunting with her Tollers). She is a member of NADOI, certified at three levels.

Chris Claussen -- has taught obedience for over twenty-five years, and at OOC since 2003. She has earned AKC titles through Utility (obedience) and RAE and has trained dogs in tracking, and UKC titles through Companion Dog Excellent and Rally Obedience Champion with her own dogs. She is an evaluator for the AKC Canine Good Citizen test and S.T.A.R. program. She is a member of NADOI, certified in Novice.
